CVG Completes Latest Rebrand: Sebern Structural Services Is Now Vector Collaborative

The CVG Marketing Team has completed another successful rebrand! We were tasked to rename and rebrand CVG Investment Partner, Sebern Structural Services — a growing, woman-owned firm with offices in Des Moines, Iowa, and Denver, Colorado.

Firm principal and founder, Kari Sebern, is an engineer who balances the science of engineering with the art of design. She wanted her new brand to communicate the firm’s innovative slant, and to show greater capacity and professionalism as she positioned her firm for larger, more sophisticated residential and commercial projects for architects and developers.

The team devised a new name, Vector Collaborative, for the firm and designed a new identity and website to reflect its values: creativity, innovation, efficiency, trustworthiness, and proficiency. The Vector Collaborative team is also fun and energetic, which was a guiding factor in the selection of the unusual lavender and black palette.

The firm’s revenue increased 23% from 2019 (before the rebrand) to 2020 (after the rebrand), despite the pandemic.

So far, the rebrand has significantly helped Vector Collaborative accomplish its positioning goals. The firm’s revenue increased 23% from 2019 (before the rebrand) to 2020 (after the rebrand), despite the pandemic. “The quality of our new website has greatly increased the caliber of our leads,” Sebern told us. “It was instrumental in us being taken seriously since we don't have a ‘storefront’ office.”
