2018 Business Plan Competition


Free registration for the 2018 Architecture Business Plan Competition is open!

Over $5,000 in cash and prizes for winners including travel and lodging to New York City for the AIA Conference on Architecture!

This unique contest recognizes small architecture firms that have invested time and resources in effective planning for their business. Over $5,000 in cash and prizes are awarded to the winner. Registration is free and all submissions are confidential.

Fifteen semi-finalists will be chosen to receive one-on-one interviews with a member of the CVG team. These interviews will involve follow-up questions to the original submission to further inform the jurors. Five independent industry experts will review the submissions and the information from follow-up interviews to select five finalists.

Launched in 2014, this is the only U.S. competition that promotes important business fundamentals in architectural practices.

From the registrants; fifteen semi-finalists are chosen for a one-on-one phone interview to discuss the business plan and the status of the firm. You receive valuable feedback from experienced professionals who understand the essentials of a profitable architectural practice. Five finalists are chosen to present their full business plan to five jurors via video conference. One winner will be selected by May 24th and awarded over $5,000 in cash and prizes, including round trip airfare and hotel in New York City during the 2018 AIA Conference on Architecture.
